Hours of operation:

8am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Fees

We offer 20 free ECE hours for children over 3 years. We work on an hourly rate of $6.50 per hour. There is a minimum attendance of at least 2 days per week and a minimum of 4 hours per session -

Morning session: 8am – 12.30pm

Afternoon session: 12.30pm – 5.30pm

If you require a booking change you must let the Manager know 2 weeks prior.

Booking Fee

There is a $20 one off non-refundable booking fee payable on enrolment. This secures your enrolment.

Sick Days

Each child’s booking will be allocated pro rata 5 sick days per year. (e.g. if your child attends 5 days per week, they will get 5 sick days per year at no charge or if they attend 2 days per week they will be entitled to 2 sick days per year at no charge). 

Holidays

We close for 2 weeks over the Christmas and New Year period plus the three statutory days. All other statutory days will be charged as normal.

Meals

Meals and all snacks and drinks are provided at a charge of $6 per day for all over 2-year-old children. This includes a cooked meal at lunchtime and healthy regular snacks throughout the day. This is an important part of our philosophy by ensuring our children have a wholesome diet low in sugar and fat. All foods are prepared in our kitchen using fresh local produce where possible. Nappies, Formula, Baby Food.

These are to be provided by the parent.

Optional charge

We have an optional charge of $1 per hour with a maximum charge of $6 per day, $20 per week.

Montessori Association NZ

We belong to Montessori Aotearoa. With this affiliation we can offer you a subscription to our Montessori Voice Magazine. This is an optional fee paid to the MANZ association and will be billed to your account at a rate of $12 per family per term if you choose it. This magazine keeps you up to date with Montessori happenings around the country.  It is also full of great educational ideas.

Payment of fees

Fees are to be paid one week in advance and paid by automatic payment or direct debit. Your child must attend the hours nominated and pay those fees accordingly. At least 2 weeks’ notice in writing is required to withdraw your child. Any absence of more than three weeks will result in your booking being cancelled unless prior arrangement has been made with the Manager. 

It is important that your child attends within your booked hours. An additional fee may be incurred if your child is collected late

Storypark

We use Storypark, an online profile journal to document your child’s learning.
